Since Akai-Bot is quite similar to another mutant, Blender, by being a robot samurai, it may have been made Cyber-Galactic to make it more diverse.
Akai-bot's hat and his swords may ideas from Yojimbo (one of Aeons from Final Fantasy X ).
Akai-bot is a possible reference to Kikuchiyo from Samurai 7 the anime TV series.
