Interceptrix is the first mutant to come from a virtual world, none is quite sure how this happened although rumors are she was initially created as a virtual reality training program for Baron Urban.

- The Bronze Interceptrix looks like Asuka from Evangelion, while the Silver version of Interceptrix looks like Rei Ayanami from Evangelion.
- Coming from a virtual world and using discs as weapons is a possible nod to Tron.
