- His name is a combination of two famous DC heroes, Superman and Batman with Kal-El and Bruce Wayne.
- His entry seems to be a mixture of both Superman and Batman's origin as Superman was adopted by a Kansas farmer and his wife and Batman was born from a wealthy family before witnessing their murder. The entry also alludes to Superman having superpowers while Batman uses his wealth to become a hero.
