- This mutant may have been inspired by the duel monster, Harpie Lady from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime.
- However, this mutant can also be based on a creature of Greek mythology of the same name.
- Despite being a Necro/Zoomorph mutant, this mutant has the Curse ability which is usually for Mythic mutants.
